Hi
I've currently got a psp listed on my Amazon sellers account. Yesterday I got an email from a 'Kelvin_Harrison1@yahoo.com' via Amazon's communication service saying the following:
Good Day,
I am interested in ur sony psp so pls get back to me now
with the item pics so i can make the purchase now with amazon and do
not forget to get back with the item listing id at amazon web so i can
make the trace quickly and make the payment asap with amazon
immediately. Awaiting ur
mail response now.
Cheers
So i emailed him with the pictures and then got a message back from payment-deposits @amazon.co.uk <amazon.support@consultant.com>. It was quite an accurate representation of an SDN message, but had a little advert at the bottom that gave it away and the £70 postage allowance also seemed a bit generous:

So I was suspicous, and checked and I (obviously) hadn't received any payment. I emailed him back letting him know that the 'amazon' email wasn't real and he wasn't getting it.
I spoke to Amazon on the phone and they said they don't even deal with customers in Nigeria, and so it is obviously a spoof and they will investigate.
I then got yet another 2 emails from 'Kelvin':
Hello
What do you mean, kindly make the contact with amazon
now at (amazon.support@consultant.com) so you can let
them know what you need after getting the confirmation
ok. mail me back asap
Thanks
So I basically told him to F off. Please feel free to abuse this guy's email address in any way you see fit.
I have posted this because I didn't want anyone to get scammed by this dirtbag. Remember to always check you've got the money before sending anything and Amazon do not deal with Customers in Nigeria.

I get this quite a few times a week.
The telltales are:-
1. Asking for listing ID (allows them to produce the sale notification)
2. Asking the condition (eh its new!!)
