Hi all, Ive got a Kindle, just the first one bog standard, I bought a CD from ebay with books on which I somehow, (God knows how because Im not techie) loaded them on. Ive just bought my DD a Kindle and Im trying to load the books on hers, it says they are there in the file in the pc, but when I look on the Kindle I cant find them. Any help would be great.
p.s, Im in the US and bought the second Kindle here but dont see that it would make a difference would it?

If you go to the Amazon kindle store, there is a discussion forum,if you do a search there you will probably find your answer.0

Search, yes, but probably best not to go talking about buying pirated books on the Amazon forum, I'd think.
Connect the Kindle to your computer using the white USB lead then open a Windows Explorer window and drag'n'drop your book files into the Kindle's document folder.
Alternatively, install the free program Calibre and use it to manage your Kindle in much the same way as you would itunes with an iPod.I'm dreaming of a white Christmas.
But, if the white runs out, I'll drink the red.0 -
If the books are in ePub format, then the Kindle does not support them. The Kindle ebook format (AZW) is a proprietary one.No free lunch, and no free laptop
