this looks really , never been to anything like this before but hope I get some tickets
thanks to DONNA for the above info, take my tent if I'm lucky and make it a free weekend.
Thanks0 -
Excellent post...you've made my night, I was hoping they'd do it again. Last year was absolutely brilliant, like some of the other posters, I'd happily pay to go, so being a freebie makes it even better!:DLaughter is the sun

Yes, there is free camping, free parking and free funfair for the kiddies.
Last year was fab, great weather and something for all ages including classic renaults on display for the oldies.
Rides included:
Dodgems
ferris wheel
cups and suacers
motor swings
sky flyer(you need a strong stomach for this one)
helter skelter
simulator
face painting
computer games
all FREE!
Hope this helps
Where can I get details of the free camping. We wanted to camp last year but when I contacted the circuit they said there was no camping for this event.0 -
A big word of warning regarding Donnington Park. Last weekend 3 cars were stolen from the carparks, 10 cars had parts removed including a Subaru had bonnet, grill, headlights, rear lights, wheels, side indicators, intercooler and other parts stolen and no one sees anything. The security is a joke. I know of other events at Donnington where cars disappear without the so called security seeing anything. There is a campaign on the net to get people aware of what is going on and to get them to do something about it.
Go if you want, but they don't give a damn just take your money, give you toilets which a pig would be happy in, so make your own mind up.0 -

I went last year and it was great. I have checked the renault site for tickets and this year they have added in a part where you have to fill in the details about your car. I think its to enable the genuine renault owners to get first chance at the tickets due to the huge number of applicants last year who had details of the event from this site and others like it and not just through the renault advertising media eg Renault Magazine.0

I went last year also. Absolutely brilliant day out. A few words of warning though, you park a good walking distance away from the event (don't leave anything on show in your vehicle), across a couple of fields actually. Food and drink are exorbitantly priced (2 x burgers and 2 x cokes £10.00). Plenty of loos, but not loo rolls. :-( make sure you buy some ear plugs as the races are very noisy and could make watching unenjoyable. I dont want to make out its all bad as it was truly a brilliant day out. p.s. if your a plane spotter then thats a bonus too, as taking off and landing flights cross the race track. enjoy everyone. :jBetter to remain a silent fool than speak and remove all doubt.0
