Where are there storage room & police auctions in scotland?

I am interested after watching a tv show on Sky tv called "Storage wars" where people bid on either abandoned or not paid-up storage containers. I wanted to know if there is anywhere in Scotland with these type of auctions. Also,i would like to know if there are any bankruptcy/police auctions in Scotland too?

There are no storage type auctions in the UK. As far as I know storage places dispose of any unclaimed units to third parties without auctions.

As for lost property/bankrupt stock auctions there are a number across Scotland. Your best option would be to get a Yellow Pages and see which ones are local to you or contact your local newspaper and ask when auctions are advertised (some have specific days).

Save your money, the police auctions are well attended and the bidders pay almost retail for second hand goods. They go thinking they will get a bargain only for bidder frenzy to take over They then forget to add the 15% buyers commision to the price and before they know it they could have bought a new one for the same price.
If you really must go the Wilson's auctions in Dalry do police auctions, they even charge a fiver to get in.

Where abouts in Scotland are you OP? They have them in Dundee and are mentioned on the Tayside police website. I suppose this is probably replicated across the country. Have you tried looking at the force websites for info?
