Finding past sales on Ebay

Someone mentioned in a previous thread that it is possible to check past sales to see how much items went for. I think it was said to be on the advanced search. I had a look but can't seem to find how this works. Any help would be appreciated. Thx.

in advanced search type in the item you are looking for but before you click search on the left hand side there is a list of things tick the completed listings one then click search it will bring up all the info you need

Just to save any confusion, on the advanced Search page, the " Completed listings only" tick box is actually under the "Enter Keyword or Item Number" and "In This Category" boxes at the top of tha page, near the center.

It's after you do a normal search that the tick box is in the menu on the left hand side.
