Hi all
I'm hoping someone can help me!! I am having problems with iTunes and I don't know what I'm meant to do!
I'll try explain my problem.......we have two laptops one of which was playing up a while back and so we stopped using it. So on the second laptop I installed iTunes and created playlists and then synced them to my iPod. When I did this I lost the songs already on my iPod but figured it couldn't be helped. Now the original laptop has been fixed and I've reinstalled iTunes and all my original playlists are on there still. I've just plugged my iPod into the original laptop thinking I could just resync the songs onto it but no, it is saying the device is already synced to an iTunes library (the second laptop one I'm assuming) and it will only give me an option to erase my iPod songs and then re sync the original laptop ones to it. Problem is I want both libraries on it as I don't want to lose the songs currently on my iPod!!
Can anyone help me!! Is there a way of having an iPod connected to two libraries and if so how? I'm not that techieand I'm blonde
so I need simple instructions on how to solve it.
Help!!!!!!!
Thank you
Michala

I'm no expert, but I believe an ipod can only be synced with one laptop at a time, so you would lose content if you sync back to the original. However, if you enable 'homesharing' on itunes on both laptops (assuming you have wifi at home), you can drag the itunes content from one laptop to the other so that when you sync your ipod, you have the choice of the entire collection on one laptop. Hope that makes sense!0
