need account for receiving USD w/ lowest fees

Hi,
I'm looking to open a bank account for receiving payments in USD which has the lowest fees and best exchange rates. The account also has to be connected to the Swift network. I currently have an HSBC account but it is not connected, so my ewallet is refusing to change my withdrawal currency to USD. It is important they let me do this, as I stand to save a lot of money if I let my bank handle the currency exchange (provided my bank is good!).
I couldn't find a section specific to this on MSE, so thought I'd try here
