help transferring

Hi

I am having a little trouble stoozing and was hoping for some advice. I currently have four credit cards and despite being sent invitations to apply for new cards (Capital One is a repeat offender) I keep getting turned down. I have never missed a payment on loans or credit cards so don't consider myself a risk. I moved house 5 months ago so maybe that has an affect.

My cards:

Barclaycard balance £2,940. Have this on lifetime 5.1%. Only have additional £400 available credit.

Morgan Stanley balance £650. Have this on low lifetime BT. They have offered me 5 months 0% on additional transfers which I am planning to use to transfer Halifax (below)

Halifax balance £1,020. This is 0% SBT but runs out March (switching to above)

Virgin balance £3,000. This is on standard 15.9% and is (obviously) the one I want to move.

I have just applied for a tesco card to transfer this for 9 months 0% but as I said have not had much luck in applying. This is the first card I have applied for in a few months.

Are there any cards out there which are easier to get accepted? Any advice appreciated.

  • one further question.

If I was able to transfer my Virgin card to a SBT offer is there any problems with swapping back to Virgin after if they are doing an offer.

I know this will affect my credit rating but my priority is clearing the debt.

This often pops up as a main reason for a refusual. Make sure you are on the electrol roll at your new address.
Maybe the previous occupants have left some baggage?

    Lo there,
As mattbass says do a credit check on the address (experian cost only £2) see if the last occupents were naughty boys/girls
Get your self on electoral role.
Also is you keep getting turned down. give it a break for a little while as every time you apply for one it appears on your credit record.
Try for the not so good cards if you can't get the 0% ones with no fee's such as Lifr of balance credit card instead

Lastly https://www.stoozing.com is your friend go read up on there
