I wanted a Travelodge for the night before and night of the Lady Gaga concert in Manchester (11th September) but typically the rates rocketed when the concert was announced... But just got 2 rooms for £34.50 in the sale0

I hope you find a good deal. I think Travelodge have definitely got more expensive in London - a couple of years ago we got 4 nights in the Covent Garden Travelodge for £50 each night but they don't seem to do offers like that now.0 -
Not much of a sale this time.
I never got anything for £12 but there was plenty at £19 (where I wanted to go) which you can`t really moan about.
I checked the same hotels and dates yesterday and they did genuinely go down today to £19 from £29 plus.
Of course the £12 is only to get you interested and it would be near impossible to get 3 or 4 nights running for £12.
I`m happy with £19 if it`s where I want.
Pointless booking willy-nilly to get a £12 room.0 -
Managed to get 2 rooms in Newcastle in Nov , 1 was £15 the other £12 for 2 nights for me and hubby plus sister and her hubby. Damned hard work booking though ! lol, but its done now and i`ll know how to do it next time. Beamish here we come!0
