Self employed and PPI?

I keep seeing reference throughout the forum regarding claiming ppis and because they was self emplyed at the time of taking loans out etc. does this make a difference? i took out a loan while self employed and wondered how it actually effect it.

Some PPI did not cover the self employed. Some did. So, if you bought PPI when you were self employed and it DIDNT cover you then you can complain. if it did cover you then you cant complain [that it didnt cover you]I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
