Hi advice needed on a TBS LOAN AND PPI CLAIM.
I got out a loan with the bank and received a once yearly statement, when i looked at it i noticed charges being taken and found out it was PPI which i wasnt even aware was being charged. When i went to review my loan i mentioned this to them and they said that it was naughty of the person who set up the loan and they would take this off, which it was. I mentioned this to a friend the other day and they said i should put in a claim. Can i do this and how do i do this with the bank.
Has anyone else done this with them.

Was this a separate Ins that was Itemised on the statement?.
If you have the account number and reasons for mis sell then put a claim in.

When you cancelled the PPI was the loan reset and did they give you a rebate of some of the PPI?, as if you win redress they will take the rebate back out of this.0 -
Ive sent off a claim form to them.
In answer to these questions:
Was this a separate Ins that was Itemised on the statement?.
Yes it was seperate on the statement
When you cancelled the PPI was the loan reset and did they give you a rebate of some of the PPI?
The loan just carried on as normal just the ppi payments stopped, they didnt mention anything about getting any of the money back so i had no rebate.
Just another quick question if anyone can help:
If i will anything, would i get a cheque or put in my account.
Or will it get taken off my current loan which is joint with my husband? and different to the one i personally had in the past.0 -
They should redress to you if the loan was in your name only.0
