Last Week was a nightmare, we celebrated getting our first mortgage with a take-away, but two days before we'd had supermarket pizza...

... anyway, a new week now :)

DD has her Christening on Sunday, So I am feeding the godparents and family HM Curries afterwards. It allows them more time with the baby (who is not much of a baby anymore)!!

We also have one godparent from Norway staying the week, so no batch cooking for us!

Friday - HM Granary Pepperoni Pizza with Salad
Saturday - MIL
Sunday - HM Chicken Korma & Beef Tikka Masala
Monday - [STRIKE]HM Lasagne, HM Garlic Bread and Salad[/STRIKE] :silenced: HM Gousions using LO Chicken from Curries
Tuesday - HM Fish, Chips and Mushy Peas
Wednesday - HM Spaghetti Bolognaise & Salad
Thursday - HM Beef Stew & Dumplings

Hope everyone has a good week x
We spend money we don't have, on things that we don't need, to impress people we don't like. I don't and I'm happy!

  • Bit disorganised this week as parents have been staying from 2 April until yesterday. They bought a huge joint of pork (half price per kg from tesc0) which was large enough for 3 meals, so we had roast on sunday and 2 pieces put in freezer.

11th frying steak and chips, tinned sweetcorn, salad

I've been struggling for inspiration for meals lately and seem to have lost interest in food/cooking :( It happens every so often, but will pass!

Monday - went to see my dad - he made chicken curry with lentil dahl, rice and popadoms. It was delicious :)

Tuesday - mixed bean chilli with cous cous

    Wednesday - sausage rigatoni

Thursday - I am still undecided.............

Friday - meatballs with pasta and Ikea sauce

Saturday - chickpea and parsnip curry with rice and naan bread (possibly some saag aloo too as made some a while back and froze it)

Sunday - pork escalope with sauteed potatoes and vegetables

I'll have to fill the rest in later as can't think of anything right now. I am making progress on emptying my freezer at long lost, but have some bits (mainly fruit) which I need to find a use for.

I know there's a new post for next week, but I still wanted to update this!
