Ive had 3 letters off a private parking company, trying to fine me for over stayed parking in a retail park ...(the automatic photo type) from the hours of just before midnight to 2.30 the next morning! this retail park is always open 24hrs as there is a macdonnals on it, and everybody uses it for the venue over the road which has no parking, and double yellow lines everywhere, plus i refuse to pay on the grounds that these shops the company are employed by arn't even open that time of night ...so how can they get away with charging people.
Now its been passed to a debt recovery agency, threating to take me to court.... as i know that the parking company are sharks i have not been intouch with them at all, but im now worried about this debt recovery agency taking it further

Debt recovery company = private citizens with no more power than you or me to demand money off people. Keep on ignoring. What part of "A whop bop-a-lu a whop bam boo" don't you understand?0

Do not ignore a private parking ticket - from 2013 onwards things changed in England/Wales. If yours is Parking Eye then they are suing people and so are some other PPCs.
You must appeal and with current forum advice, you will win at popla - we win 100% of appeals in 2014.

You don't have a parking ticket of any sort, nor a fine and the "debt collectors" are nothing more than a joke too.
Ignore them completely and check the sticky to see what to expect next in their letter chain.0 -
They WONT take you to court be strong and ignore all sh**e from them they will fizzle out and make there filthy liveing out of people who think there as real as a council/police ticket finesPPCs say its carpark management, BPA say its raising standards..... we all know its just about raking in the revenue. :eek:0

Yes, you have done well up to now, just keep on ignoring, the entire operation is simply a scam and if you take no notice they will just go away.0
