Hi,
I recently bought a website from ebay. I had communications from the seller prior to winning the auction. I paid £210 and thought it included the traffic as he suggested this in emails prior to auction closing and showed screenshots. After winning the auction the seller has been helpful but has now says the sale doesn't include the any traffic. I was a bit annoyed as I bought the website on the basis that it was making a small profit of about £200 per month profit. The seller after saying no traffic included, told me how to get the traffic but he's clearly lieing as the outcomings outway the income based on his exact criteria. What's the best course of action please?

Only thing I can think of is item not as described dispute through paypal.
But not sure if a website is classed as tangible goods or not???
Someone else may know.0 -
Sounds pretty intangible to me
My TV is broken!
Edit: refunded £515 for TV 1.5 years out of warranty - thank you Sale of Goods Act! :j0 -
Suppose it might depend if anything was actually physically posted to the OP.
OP was any documentation actually physically posted to you i.e a CD ROM printed literature etc?
Might have some grounds then...worth a try if so.0
