Thomas Cook stops flights to Tenerife

Thomas cook have stopped flying to Tenerife from East Midlands this Winter all of a sudden,they were available earlier this week.
I have just gone online and was surprised to see no flights so i have contacted them and i was advised they are no longer available,i am very surprised as we have been with them every December for a number of years and the flights are always full !!

Off the back of this and all the other problems TC have had/having this could be a sign of things to come...

Mr Wang,I think you may be correct,after looking further it appears they have pulled all their winter programme from East Midlands,it was mainly the canary Islands and that is very worrying,i will not be booking with them now.

They may have decided to use a larger aircraft from BHX to serve the midlands.

So because they have pulled a flight then that means they are going down the pan? Oh please!
They have made it quite clear in the past few months that part of their turnaround plan includes reducing the amount of aircraft and hotels and it seems that the aircraft at East Midlands may be part of that reduction as our usual flight to Egypt from East Mids has also gone.
Birmingham is not exactly a million miles away....

Thomson have stopped flying to SKG from several airports now and that's summer flights!!
EasyJet no longer do NCL - PMI winter flights or even fly to PRG now from NCL!!

Are Thomson and easyJet now in trouble??

No, they haven't.

Just because you can't see a flight to book doesn't mean there isn't a flight.

Near-time flights could just be full.

There are flights from BHX-TFS visible now, this summer and next winter.

They haven't stopped flying that route from EMA either!!!!

Just been on TC website and there are packages to Tenerife fri n sun out of BHX, and Tue n fri out of Ema for december 2012 or were you just talking about flight only.

Steph thanks for that,i will call them ASAP,i looked earlier in the week and they were advertising flights and packages on a Friday in December,went to book last night and they had all gone of line.
I had an online conversation and the guy advised there were no flights or packages in December from East Mids,i also checked Birmingham and they had gone as well
