Coop Energy Price Increase for early customers.
I've not seen this in the news or on here but had this email this afternoon .... (Full link below)
Can I start by thanking you for your support for the launch of Co-operative Energy. You were one of our early 'Pioneer Customers' who helped us establish this exciting new co-operative venture.
At the time of our launch we created a special price band to reflect the fact that we were new to the market. Even today, over a year on, your electricity unit price is 5 per cent lower than the price we charge new customers, which is itself one of the cheapest standard tariffs available.Since January this year, our costs of purchasing electricity have risen by 9.5 per cent. If we were an investor-owned business, we would probably implement a price increase of this amount to restore our margins. But as we are owned by our customers and given the loyalty you have shown to Co-operative Energy, we are intending to propose an increase in your electricity unit price of 3 per cent from 8 May 2012.

It's still cheaper than their current new customer electricty tariff.

If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.
If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.

as they say give you a good looking bird, get married and once done they up the gameDon't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0

I'll have to do a new comparison. Last time I did so, the Coop was stlll within £10 of being the best (variable) deal for me personally and I did get £50 credit for single fuel for signing up. I'll also get about £10-£12 back in dividends in June which can be converted into hard cash.If the ball had gone in the net it would have been a goal.If my Auntie had been a man she'd have been my Uncle.0
