Just because of the extra pricing does not mean they are cowboys. Cowboys wouldn't even use aquaboard anyway they wouldn't care and tile straight onto plaster.

My last job (1 year ago) was renovation of an outside of a building. NO way would I charge all those extras in fact I ended up losing £1000 on the job as what I quoted was what I charged.
Time, issues and extras I did not allow for or quote for shouldhave been included. Your builoder is taking the P155 . (And thats not a tax form) .

Put a stop to it and ask then to confirm each price as per original quote. They must have known they had to get a skip, remove a bathroom and taping up ??????? !!!!!! is that....

You are being conned and as your ghavekept paying up they will keep adding extras.
