Raised Beds - Review I suppose

I'd be really interested in any answers to this as well, I was thinking along the same lines but a higher quantity of verminculite.

Is there any difference between vermiculite and perlite?

I just filled with compost. I've topped off with horse manure. I make nettle fertiliser soup which I use to promote good healthy green leaf growth - I'm going to be using comfrey bocking 14 after that.

im looking to have raised beds all round my garden,
1 set set round my small patio which will have 3 long ones that are not too wide and 2 small square ones that will go in the corners and have patio fruit trees like lemon and limes
, then were having a network of paths on the upper garden that will lead to the kids play area or to the pond, so either side the paths were putting in thin raised planters :-)
will be easier for me to deal with and will have no grass to deal with either lol
