Switching providers when I move back to my home after renting it out

Can anyone give me some advice on finding a good deal for dual gas and electric?
I've been renting out my home but will be returning to live there again next month, and would like to know if there's any benefit from switching providers.
The tenants have their electric bill with Southern Electric and gas with Scottish and Southern Energy. I'm aware I will have to register with them first once I move back into the property.
Before I rented out my home I lived there alone and was paying £30 per month for gas with British Gas and £26 for electric with eon.
However, my circumstances have since changed, I will be living there now with my pregnant wife who is due to give birth in October, so the bills will be considerably higher. I'll be working 9-5 Mon-Fri but my wife will be home pretty much 24/7.
Can anyone give me an indication of what sort of monthy bill I can expect, and if there is any particular provider to look at?
I would like a dual provider, if it works out cheaper, but don't really know where to start. What sort of tariff should I be looking for, what ones to avoid?

Welcome to the forum.
That is a 'how long is a piece of string' question!
Is your home a 1 bed flat or a 10 bedroom mansion?
You need to estimate the annual consumption in kWh and enter that information into a comparison website.0 -
It's a 3 bedroom mid terraced house.0

But that doesn't tell us anything about your usage. You could start with an average of 16,500kWh for gas and 3,300kWh for electrcity. Run that through a comp site for starters. No free lunch, and no free laptop

Ask the tenants how much they were using?0
