Capped Price coming to an end

My Powergen price cap is coming to an end on April 1st.

Obviously all the reductions across the industry have started to happen but my question is this.

Do I jump ship so that I'm on a new supplier come April 1st or do I tough it out for another 30 days with Powergen? Bear in mind that for those 30 days I will be on Powergens current rates and not the new cheap ones which don't start til May

Any advice?

If 'Powergen price cap'(as you put it,) means 'capped' as opposed to 'Fixed' you should reduce in price if the new tariffs they have on offer are cheaper.

I would see what Powergen offer you and then you will be able to make some comparisons when all the new reduced tariffs have been declared by the various companies.
