Hi
I am taking my son (age 7) to se the FA Vase Final - Sunday 13th May.
He would like to see the London Eye, and Big Ben while we are here.
I am very wary of coming just him and I to London, my thoughts are to have a hotel / room near the LE and here I can walk around to places rather than the tube and then go over to Wembley on the Sunday and return directly from the game to Kings Cross.
Thank you

You can have your breakfast and see the London eye from the dining room in this hotel. It is just across the river. It had a offer where you got a £50 gift voucher to send at Selfridges when I booked it last. You could spend it in any other Selfridges not just LondonHi

also in the same building as ticket office is the London aquarium which I am sure your son would love - may even be a combined ticket for the attractions tI am responsible me, myself and I alone I am not the keeper others thoughts and words.0

we were there Sunday. Yes you can get a combined ticket to the Eye and Aquarium but it would be cheaper to sourse a bogof to the Aquarium(ebay for 50p or theres loads floating about) the only way we got bogof to the eye was via the great day out rail offer. The cashier looked at us weird but did eventually put it through. Theres a Mcdonalds right near the eye as well if you fancy an ice cream or top up without paying out lotsMad Mum to 3 wonderful children, 2 foster kittens and 2 big fat cats that never made it to a new home!
Aiming to loose 56 pounds this year. Total to date 44.5 pounds 12.5 to go. Slimming World Rocks!0 -

We always book travelodge in southwark during their sales @ £10-19 it's only 15 minutes walk to London eye or 1 stop on underground (kids free on oyster)
We also have merlin annual pass it's about £87 on visit England site. it covers entries to London eye, sealife centre, London dungeons and madame tussauds and other attractions - Well worth the money0 -
When we went we stayed at Novotel West a lovely hotel and cheap compared to other hotels. We took the London bus tour which dropped us off at various attractions and you can hop on and off with aa bus every 10 mins from every point. It also includes a free river cruise which is right by the London Eye. Taxi from our hotel to the bus tour starting point was only £15 each way and we didnt need to prebook as there was always taxis outside.Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.0

A taxi from the Novatel West in Hammersmith would cost a lot more than £15 each way for the foreseable futute0 -
Depends how much you want to spend but there are also 2 Park Plaza Hotels:
- Park Plaza County Hall
- Park Plaza Westminster Bridge
We've stayed in a suite at the Park Plaza County Hall and had fab views of the London Eye and Big Ben! However it was a bit pricey but worth it!
Like others have said though, there is a Premier Inn within County Hall but they can but just as expensive.0
