How long do I have to pay my bill? E-ON

Hi all,
Just a quick question. I have just moved house where E-ON supplied the utilities. I have now moved away from them but I am expecting a bill for around £130 from the last months gas/elec. I have also had to pay in advance my new supplier amongst many other bills so I am struggling a bit this month.
My question is, when they send me the bill, (which I am assuming will be in the next few days) realistically how long do I have to pay it? I get paid on the 20th so approx 2 weeks. Do you think this will be a negative mark against my credit report or that they will chase me for this over the next 2 weeks?
If anyone can help it would be much appreciated!

It's due on delivery of the bill, but they're hardly going to mark your credit file after 14 days-at most you'd get a reminder.
Why are you paying your new supplier 'in advance'-that is not normal practice? No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Hiya TN
We'll allow up to 14 days from sending your bill for payment before we send any reminder letters. Your credit file certainly won’t be affected at that stage.
If you can pay the bill when you've been paid that's great but if things are tight and you need a little longer, then we can set up a payment plan for you, giving you up to 4 months to pay your balance.
This needs to be a formal arrangement that’s in place on your account. If it’s something that will help, just call the number on the bill when you receive it and we’ll be happy to set something up for you.
Hope this helps

Amanda - Thank you, it will be paid within 14 days of receiving the bill.
MACMAN - Sorry should have made it clearer, they took over my supply about 10 days ago and so as I pay by DD on first of the month, a payment was made to my account on Monday.March'13 - Debt £13000 :eek:Total % paid - 0%0
