I got insurance from them becasue they were the cheapest. I paid well over £1400 for a years insurance.

Now they're ringing me so often, trying to flog me multicar insurance for my brother as well.

Then they're trying to upsell me courtesy car for £25. I don't want it because I'm social only and I can go without a curtosy car, also I had bad experienced with them after getting into a massive quagmire with a hire company over minor damages which they tried to swindle me with an arm and leg for. So I wouldn't ever want to drive a curtosy car or hire car ever again.

They put me on with some slick salesmen who comes up with every rebuttal. To sell me £25 of curtosy car cover.. Why aren't they just glad for the £1400 they already got from me?

Also they asked me twice now for breakdown cover.. I got breakdown cover from RAC at less than half price.

!!!!!!! annoying.

Why haven't you told them that you don't want any marketing calls?

You may need to write or email.
  • Your words " i had a bad experience with them after getting into a massive quagmire with a hire company Over minor damages which they tried to swindle me " don't ever want to drive a courtesy car or a hire car ever again .

And you have renewed your insurane with them agian ? Don't want to ruin your thread .
I mention it first before someone else does more " harshly "

Looks like OP had a problem with a courtesy car in the past so isnt interested in adding the option to any policy they take out.

OP, they're all the same these days, father in law took insurance out via Swintons and had calls for days after offering allsorts.

As suggested, get in touch with them and tell them that you dont want any marketing calls/emails/contact from them or any third parties.
