are thomas cook really incompetent???

why can thomas cook not book a 3 week holiday for me? we are planning a trip to zante in the summer, aim on going 9 aug - 30 aug, 2 adults 2 children. we know the accomodation is available and the flights but according to various online checks and thomas cook reps and other companies who deal with them they cant book it!!
they are all telling us the only way it can be done is by booking 2 holidays, one for 2 weeks and 1 for a week, however we would then be paying for 8 extra flights we would not use!!!! tried to go on their customer services complaints website but suprisingly enough its closed for maintenance!
any ideas?????

Have you tried www.flexibletrips.com as thats what Tc use to put holidays together that aren't the norm. Or Tc do accommodation only book that for 3 weeks and book the flights separately.

www.lowcostholidays.com will do that for you no problem, and probably 10% cheaper than Thomas Cook!!!

Thomas Cook packages will not book it as 3 weeks as they typically only sell 7 or 14 night durations to Europe.

But as other posters have suggested, you'll be able to book it, just not as a traditional package.

Watch out for extra baggage charges from lowcostholidays, £9extra PP E/W than the same Thomas Cook flight.

Try Tesco Travel and use TRAVELSTORE10 for 10% discount just booked for Tenerife and they were £160 cheaper than any one else

Give them a call and see what they say.

We have been using them for years with no issues so far.

Where in Zante are you going we were their twice last year (Tsilivi and stayed at the Contiseena) Was excellent.

I used to work for TC and this can be done.

If you are booking with a Travel Agent then they will need to phone TC up to book it and you end up with a 2 week and a 1 week holiday combined but not paying the extra cost for the flight seats you are not using. Its a complex booking but it can be done its just faffy to do which maybe why there saying it cant be done.

Flexi Trips are part of TC so they may be able to also package it together for you
