Requesting a copy of credit agreement from catalogues

My catalogue arrears are with DCA and Ive not made any payments towards them.

I've been informed I can request a copy of the credit agreement I signed (I know I never signed anything) and if one can't be supplied the debt isn't enforceable. Is this correct?

If it is do I write to the catalogues or the DCA?

The majority were opened in 2004 with a few in either 2006 or 2007.

its not just as simple as that, there are various reasons that an agreement can be UE, and you need to get the CCAs to look at them first before making any pronouncements, the ones before April 2007 can be challenged on the CCA if it is defective, but post 2007 are a bit different. Get the CCAs and then get decent advice on the lawfulness of what they supply (if they actually supply anything that is)

The catalogues dont have cca's signed and everyone knows it, but they can still chase and trash your credit file just means they cant take you to court
Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.

The OP is in arrears and the accounts are with a DCA, therefore defaulted, so credit record is not a concern.
