Hello - I am hoping that you lovely people can give me a bit of a guiding hand.
I am self employed and would now like to send out invoices/receipts via e-mail rather than through the post (now that the postage will be going up).
I have scanned my headed paper onto my pc, but I don't know now how to put the word document onto the headed paper so I can send it and they recipient can print it off the other end. I have tried copy/cut and pasting but it doesn't work:(
Thank you for any help you are able to give.;)

Why not just use a plain Word document and customise the header with your own header, rather than scanning and faffing about? Surely you have a digital version of your logo/title?0

If you find the format has changed when it is opened at the other end, you could look at making the word document, converting to pdf and then attaching it

If you're sending any "official" business documents electronically, it is extremely wise to send them as PDFs. It gives a far greater probablitity that "what you see is what they get" (wysiwtg?).If you find the format has changed when it is opened at the other end, you could look at making the word document, converting to pdf and then attaching it

I would second that invoices etc are sent electronically as PDFs. This prevents the 'customer' from alering them easily.I hvae nt snept th lst fw mntes writg ths post fr yu t cme alng hre nd agre wth m!

Scanning in the header will look terrible anyway. Create the heading in your preferred application and then import it into Word or Excel or wehatever program you are creating your invoices in.No free lunch, and no free laptop
