OS thread for Wednesday 28th Feb 07

Options
Hi, this is the Daily Thread for 28 Feb 2007 This is an “over the garden fence” type thread where we chat about everything OS and maybe a little bit more. It’s a great, inspiring and motivating thread we start each day to discuss what we’re going to do today or what we’ve achieved already. Everyone’s welcome, please do come in, put your feet up (although check the fence hasn’t just been painted first!) and join us for an OS natter. The more the merrier!

When you make a post, if you feel like giving it a title, that will help others that don’t have the time to read everything skim through the thread quickly but if not it's not a problem, we’re a laid back bunch here so you won’t hear any complaints. Please do not start a new daily thread before you go to bed at night because this often leaves things confusing with two daily threads live at the same time. The idea is that a member would start each new daily thread after they get up in the morning

Some people who chat here like to try to answer everyone. Don’t feel you have to though, a general “hi everyone, hope everyone’s well” type start does just as well.

I think there must be a lack of interest? It is quite unusual to strat this at 7am.
Day off for me anyway, lots of jobs to do. Clean out the chicken run. Chop up a dead tree down the way and generally sort a few things out.

Good morning to all who follow

Morning N9eave and all to follow.
These dark mornings do finally take their toll don't they! Great thing is Spring is just around the corner along with the lighter mornings and nights. Lots more time for OSing then :D
This year I'm hoping I'll cut my lavender early enough to make some of those lovely wardrobe pommander things that were on here last year. At last an excuse to sit in the sunshine! (I don't like sitting and doing 'nothing' - shows neighbours how lazy I am, lol)
Since the Reiki session on Monday I have been far more productive - not something I expected. Usually in the evenings all I can do is 'crash' .... but twice now I've cracked on with a bit of homework. I even cooked scotch pancakes at 9:30 last night (as the now sticky with syrup keyboard indicates, lol) Admittedly I didn't 'cook' dinner last night (was far from OS, so not telling what I did, lol) but I'm still pleased with my achievments for the evening.
College today - should be learning aromatherapy for the face...mmmmmm.
Lots of the 'old' 'regulars' are missing - far too many to list, but (((HUGS))) to you. I miss you and hope you do come back - lots of you are like 'best friends' to me.

    Good Morning

Just getting ready for another day at work.

Off out tonight with about 6 workmates for dinner as we are splitting as a team after today. Probably won't be home until late so that will be my lot.

    Have a great day :D
  • Good Morning N9eav and Taplady! Where's everyone else? Good morning to you all too.

Not been posting for a few days - my get-up-and-go appears to have got-up-and-left. Queenie, is it with your oooomph? Edit, think it's been pinched by Kaz - shove us a pancake, hun? Still feeling down, for no discernable reason.

Happy Birthday to Crazychick for yesterday. Hope you had a good one!

DH and I went to a pub quiz, in aid of choir funds yesterday. Not only did we not win any of the quiz sections, we won nothing on the raffle - the only team to come away empty handed. Good evening, though, and great chips!

Think it's going to be a Windy Wednesday - have a good one.

  • Good Morning All

Not raining here in Essex at the moment (hope I havnt spoken to soon). So that is a good start to the day. Also feel happier as managed to do everything on my office to do list yesterday - hopefully will acheive the same today.

Have college this morning, so fingers crossed will find room in the posh coffee shop so can have a lovely Mocha - if not will be a cappucino from Wimpy. Will also do all my banking whilst in town. Dont think I need anything else but am running low on moisturiser so will pop into superdrug.

Kaz - you definately have some energy at the moment - think I might nick some if that is ok.

Morning Twink - do you really watch chicken cam?

Pen Pen - that sounds like my kind of luck.

Enjoy your days Skystar & DLB & everyone else.

Lunch - probably tuna mayo sand
Dinner - pork chops with bacon & cheese mash roasted veg.

N9eav - enjoy chopping your tree up. OH's chainsaw is his favourite power tool (followed closely by his grinder) - its a man thing I guess
