Can I ask a question please?
Is it possible to print off someones post? I'm thinking of the recipe, rather than sit and write it down. Or can I save it somehow?Techno nerd with 'L' plates :rotfl::rotfl:

Was in Mr T N£wbury store yesterday - and saw a lady emptying the children's clearance into her trolley. She took literally dozens of the same 4p items and basically took the lot.
Wonder if she got trouted? I do tend to think that that's the way the glitches get busted.
Each to their own and all that.0 -

Hi Dodo, recipe for pineapple muffins below (and for anyone else interested). Makes 12.
100g plain flour
1006 wholemeal flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 (3 quarters, not 3 or 4!) tsp bicarb of soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
175 vegetable oil (sounds strange but it works)
75g caster sugar
2 eggs
125g grated carrots (approx 1 large carrot or 2 smallish)
225g pineapple tinned or fresh (cut into small chunks).
100g raisins.
Preheat oven to 180 degrees/gas 4. In bowl one, put the two flours, baking powder, bicarb of soda, cinnamon and ginger and give a quick stir.
In bowl two, put the vege oil, sugar and 2 eggs and beat together until well blended. add the carrots, raisins and pineapple. Gradually add bowl 1 (dry flour ingredients) into bowl 2, beating just enough t combine all the ingredients.
Put the mix into muffin trays lined with paper cases and bake for between 20 and 25 mins or until golden. A tip for checking if cakes are cooked is to insert a cocktail stick into the middle of the cake - if it comes out "clean" it is normally cooked.
If you want to make them smaller (more like fairy cakes) then reduce cooking time accordingly.
Happy cooking. I'm logging off now. Night night xxTiger
