I haven't got any 1p chocs, 4p hats, free batteries, simply add .......... etc. I'm sure the manager of my Ts reads this!!!A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist0 -
Managed to get 2 disney DVD's all the rest had been relieved of their labels.
Am down south, went in 3 T's, and only one had a load of baby equipment/baby toy bargains.
Hope everyone was lucky with the disney DVD's.
Would love to post a picture of my two lovely babies, Archie and Queenie, but as a newby am not allowed, shame.
And, thank you for the info on the DVD's. Hope to contribute a lot more now I have finally found my password.
Also, noticed a load of the tinned meat, was half price or less. Hope this helps someone.0 -
Can anyone tell me... a SS takes 2 coupons before calling for assistance, does that include a price flop coupon or do they automaticly call for assistance if you use one of them?
TIA..0 -

Oiiiiiiiiiii wait!!!!! You are short and fat oh yea just like me0 -
I went to a particularly trouty store and was thrilled to see lots of bogof DVD's :T and 6 fell into my trolley. I was told shocking lies at CS by more than 1 person that the stickers were Disney stickers and nothing to do with Mr T... therefore charged correctly. Don't think so...another manager please! I was far from rude but just firm as I knew it was rubbish. Eventually a new manager comes over and says bogof on DVD's has continued  and I had been overcharged!:T:T:T
Then asks me if I am happy to pay just the £45....me - finger - pointing - sign on wall - result! Lovely CS man then happily gives me my £90 back! A tough one but worth it...usually this DTD lark is much easier!
And before all that, I had a lovely day with Gemini Jesand we found a whole box of 1p chocolate hearts :T hiding on the top shelf. Beeped them all through SS no problem and GJ was on hand to provide unexpected bagging issues if things went awry.
However, batteries bogof again! SA not happy with me at cancelling the sale of "a few" packets!
Then some extreme wombling ensued, to the point of a trolley man asking Gemini Jes if she needed any help as she was paying particular attention to his bundle of trolleys!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Finally, the most random part of the day was finding a HUGE tub of Flora someone had just left on the trolleys! The receipt said it was bought half an hour earlier so it went to a good home, not mine lol!!!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Well done, but........
Please don't think I'm being awkward here, but did you actually need all the batteries or the DVD's???
As you all know, I'm certainly no stranger to DTD and have given it a right good spanking on occasion, but IMO its way too easy to fall into the trap of raising your profile in a store to buy crap we don't need.
I have found DVD's and betteries over the past couple of days along with a few other oddments but have bought nothing.
As I say, not having a go, just a bit of food for thought really as store bans do happen and more often than we think. I guess if we have a huge catchment of stores then this may well be a non issue, but for others it could cause problems.
Just a bit of waffle from me.............0 -
I went to Mr S today to get the palmolive, I thought I was about to get trouted when the barcode didn't scan. Thankfully the young lad put them through without batting an eyelid. Don't print vouchers on really thin paper, I think this is the reason they wouldn't scan because some of the lines looked as though they had bled a little.
Also the walkers sports relief crisps are not reduced in every store, they were £2 in mine.0 -

Same boat here too Sanya, no DVD's, Simply Adds, 4p items this time or last time, no 1p boxes of chocs..
Sure most things are store size specific...
Please Mr T, remember those of us that don't have extra's or expresses!
No receipts to womble, either super efficient trolley collectors, or others wombling.....
And if I hadn't have had to take a colleague home this evening, would have stopped at A's to womble!
Pretty much made a bad day worse, think FK's no mojo has been passed onto meThe mind is like a parachute. It doesn't work unless it's open0
