If you get that said to you again put the phone down and redial until you get someone that knows their job

Heard the best one yet in an Extra this morning as to why the scanners (there are 2) do not work.

I was having a moan because I had to walk half a mile from the far end of the store to get something price checked. (?As usual no-one on the electrical desk). Woman tells me 'we can't have them working because they are dangerous!' I looks at her 'gone out'. 'What do you mean dangerous'? She says 'they are dangerous becaue the kids swing on them'.

Tried hard to keep a straight face. 'But they are still installed on the pillars, just not working'. 'So if they are switched on and the kids swing on them they are dangerous, but if they are switched off the kids can still swing on them and they are not dangerous'.

'Yes' she says. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Anyway, what I got price checked was marked on shelf at £34. something, but scanned at £8.74 - Pure DAB White digital radio, bar code ends 1432. Wasnt worth the full price but good for £8.74 so a big thank you whoever posted about some of the audio things being reduced (will read back later).

I wouldnt make a habit of it, but why not eh. They trout you often enough and you wouldnt be breaking the law. They can only say no afterall.
