I quit as the resident pub quizzer ages ago, 3Dogs.

Somebody in the bar was cheating ; playing the pub quiz machine using fake £1 coins. Not just once a night either. To avoid drawing attention to themselves, they would play for a bit, empty the machine, then leave. After waiting a while for the regulars to fill it up, the crook would come back, disguised as someone else and empty the machine again using more fake £1 coins.

    :p

    ps. Love Alan's hat. :D

Aghhhhhhh I was being a good girl and after being told the other night that the palmolive voucher had been pulled and NOT to use the ones we had printed as it would spoil it for everyone else in the future, I proceeded to rip mine up! I have now read that this has not been pulled but am now without a voucher!:o
I think it pays to be bad sometimes!

    Part of the Furniture
Evening, SA at the SS till wouldn't let me use the £2.50 off a £10 frozen food flop mag voucher today. She (and another 6 staff she disscussed it with) said I had to actually pay £10 to use it, ie the total after the BOGOF comes off not before. Has anyone else been stopped?
No bargains to report despite scanning lots of random things, sorry.
Loving FK pics and allthe pet ones, thank you.

    evening lovelies :)

big thanks to Karlie for the codes to use on ts online - ordered dog food and cigarettes to click and collect today....was miffed that it wouldnt let me use more than 1 pet food code....used the new customer £10 off code...and also put in another one I found online (cant remember what it was though)....wouldnt accept the 2nd £10 off (which i didnt think it would).....just checked my print off reciept...and theyve not taken off the £2 pet food coupon...but they have taken off 2 x £10 :)

so a £76 bill down to £56....which is less than the cost of the cigarettes :)

now if only i could muster the will power to stop smoking like so many of you on here, I would be saving even more ;)

I think this is what has happened with mine as an extra £8 had come off and I did wonder if the dog food one had gone through.

I was really dissapointed with my online new shopper at Mr Ts. I bought to make the most of JTD and they have not pricematched the things I had been counting on, esp the £18 Oral Bs : (
Guess what is being returned on Monday.

I'm sure I read that there are two different types and only one compares. Did you definately buy the right ones?
A bargain is something you don't need at a price you can't resist

:j Glad it's all sorted 3dogs, motability scheme is a godsend. Hopefully your car will arrive sooner than they expect. (They often do.) Amazing how easy and straightforward the whole process is once the ball's rolling. Everyone is so helpful. Here's looking forward to you and Mr 3dogs enjoying much deserved problem free time together with your friends. (And long may it continue.) xx
