If anyone else wants to try it....there were leaflets in store for £5 off £25 on clothes. I tore the coupon off the bottom and used this as well as my £5 off £40.
It's a good way of getting your total up if you don't need much shopping and there's the added bonus of being able to return something if it doesn't fit
Wow I am glad I am not the only one who buys things to up my shopping total intending to return it later. I usually buy Memory cards or small electrical items. I am off to do a big shop tommorow. I have loads of knife vouchers, 1 £5.00 moc, a £7.00 moc ( if you spend £50.00- picked up with a good womble today), and a lot of SSM vouchers gained last night thanks to loads of good people on here.0 -

On the subject of whether you "lose" your £5 off if you return something on a £40 shop, I have experienced both...so like all other things Mr T - it's the luck of the draw who serves you!
It's nice that they are so reliable and consistent - that's why we love em!
Thing is ... doesn't the £5 off show as a "coupon" on the receipt? What's to say this wasn't a JTD and nothing to do with a conditional spend?0 -
Zonk giving up the egg hunt for tonight.I made a mistake once, believeing people on the internet were my virtual friends. It won't be a mistake that I make again!0
