Now that the Asda promotion has finished on Happy Eggs, they have a new one on Hoads Farm Free Range Medium: £1.28 or 2 for £2 (£1.69 in Mr Ts:eek:)

Has anyone tried this for price-checking?

Then off to mr s where got severly trouted from magement who came straight over to the till and advised me that because I had been in quite a few times and the barcodes are all the same they couldnt take them but the fairy one was fine.

Lucky i had already loaded the daily mail article on my iphone, showed him this, taken down to cs desk where bigger manager comes along and says yeah thats fine just put them through. scans them all again and asks for 98p please for the 4 and the bottles of fairy, me with my smug face smiles :P

Time to get more loreal ones for the oh

Some men's 4p items in Ab1ngd0n store this afternoon.
they are in a clearance basket by the men's socks etc.

I found scarves & hats, but the nice gloves had no barcodes on and I didn't think I would be able to wing it through the self checkout ! Also some of the items are security tagged, so worth a rummage to find some which are not.

Also the men's value dressing gowns are there, but scan at £5 not 5p :eek: so I now have one to take back as "him indoors didn't like it!"

There are a few ladies' scarves left, they are the softknit minky colour ones. I idn't bother trying those today.

No kids' items detected.
