Can you believe I'm half an hour away from Bicester and have only been once in 4 years... I'm not a clothes shopper and it bores me rigid - unless it's for a lovely bag. Much rather do it all online. I've got a Louis Vuitton from 8 years ago that looks pristine. In fact, I've done rather well out of my DH as I've never paid a penny for them :D That's what I call MSE:rotfl:

I'm about 50 minutes away and only go for bags and DH goes for polo shirts.I too am very mse, DH is very well trained and usually asks what bag is it this year;)And this year we just happened to be walking through a large dept store in November looking for a pressie for his mums birthday when I spotted the new gucci messenger bag.He saw me drooling over it and said do you want it for Xmas:T:TI have never actually bought one for myself either :o:o:o We could always swap pet piccies for bag piccies:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
    Beware!!!! Glitching is addictive:rotfl:

Regarding the Origins Free £36 Moisturiser offer where you take any empty moisturiser container and get a free one. Be aware that I have telephoned beforehand at 3 separate Boots in my area. None of them have this, and 'do not stock it'

I would ring your Origins store beforehand to make sure you dont have a fruitless journey. The offer is only good, if the goods are there !

For anyone interested I have found that in Leeds, the Origin stockists are Debenham's 115-126 Briggate, Tel 01132 186357.

But I haven't rung them as I wont bother going. Too far for me.

    Hope this helps someone.
I just rang my local John Lewis. Asked for a skin consultation for tomo morning and told her I'm going to buy something anyway (as I am) but as I really want a free tub of the cream - it is full sized btw - can she save me one for my appt... :D . She is checking how many she has been sent and is caling me back later to confirm, even though it's a bit sneaky on my part.

We are the same :T I did this in john lewis in July and OH said "well do you want it?" on the spur of the moment. I had been coveting it for months though and I barely so shopping for myself. So was pretty chuffed with him that day.:D

    Finally caught up.

Got what i wanted in Mr S this morning didn't have to go to Mr B ;) thank you Neosi :A

Felt :o when self service till kept saying out loud "please insert your coupon" i had to use nectar card to push them in :rotfl:didnt help because store was empty so it was echoing i told it to "shut up" :rotfl::rotfl:

    Palmolive coupon was working :)

Weather is awful we got heavy rain :(

No wonder my legs been so sore i have pulled my hamstring

With the palmolive coupons, I've been folding them into four with the barcode facing. It's then really quick to scan them and shove 'em in the slot!. Don't need to worry now though if it's not been pulled. I'll risk putting them through the tills as normal
My husband says he will leave me if I don't stop shopping......... God I will miss that man.

I have Coeliac disease, which means if I eat gluten, a protein found in wheat, barley, rye and oats, it triggers an auto-immune response which destroys my stomach lining. The marking "gluten free" you will see on some food packaging is aimed at people like me. There are supposed to be something like a million Coeliacs in this country, and it can be a right pain sometimes.

do you get your bread etc on 'scrip from the Docs ?

I do, and I get some very funny looks when I walk out with a box of food :D

tell me about it Lutzi...my DD who is nearly 4 has just had blood tests to confirm she is a Coeliac sufferer.....has cost me more for bread, pasta, jaffa cakes and cereal just for her for a week, than what I usually spend on all four of us for about 3 weeks  I know I'll get bread on prescription for her...but am really hoping I can get other bits too...not treats like the jaffa cakes, but cereals and pasta would be a great help!!

We have plenty of chemists nearby....2 of which are Boots...so regular trips in there will no doubt result in me spending more :rotfl:

    Hi guys

I had a thought figured one of you will probably know

The 2 for £3 at A for frozen, it is actually an offer on frozen, not on particular products, ie. there is a whole page of selected frozen products priced 2 for £3.

    http://groceries.asda.com/asda-estore/specialoffers/linksavecontainer.jsp?promoId=ls66954

It occurred to me, would that mean that were we to buy say one Korma and one box of ice creams that would be 2 for £3

I know usually an offer would be kept to the product or brand, but the page made me wonder
