I did go, not many bargains. There were melamine sets ideal for young children for 49p reduced from £3.

I scanned the Thorntons Dessert chocolates as OOD end April but still £8. Also found a lone box of chocolates in a flower shaped, pink but scanned at £6. Thought as only one on shelf they may have been reduced. There were some Mothers day chocolate plaques but £2. Maybe one to watch.

No out of date SEL that I could find.
There were a lot of mangers walking around the store this afternoon.

Also went to St.M£llons, no working scanner, but on the reduced shelf there were Green & Blacks chocolates, the 'Love Milk' chocolates and Black Magic...shame no way of checking the price. Could ask them to be scanned but if they were 1p then chances are staff would refuse to sell...not too friendly in that store.

    Glad I didn't bother now :)

    Jumblejack,
It goes very well -thank you for asking:) Here is the recipe http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/recipes/lemon_and_blueberry_11428 , I substitute the fruits with what I've got. Did not have much trust in the Bikers, but their recipes proved to be really good - even the crumpets one:D
Actually they have quite good show - http://www.bbc.co.uk/food/programmes/b01dl8gl Last episode - tonight at 8@BBC2 ( I can hear " Is this the bake@home thread?":o )
