Darkvelv, whilst rain watching you may enjoy this:

These are my two drops of rain
    Waiting on the window-pane.
I am waiting here to see
Which the winning one will be.
Both of them have different names.
One is John and one is James.
All the best and all the worst
Comes from which of them is first.
James has just begun to ooze.
He's the one I want to lose.
    John is waiting to begin.
He's the one I want to win.
    James is going slowly on.
Something sort of sticks to John.
John is moving off at last.
    James is going pretty fast.
John is rushing down the pane.
James is going slow again.James has met a sort of smear.
    John is getting very near.
    Is he going fast enough?
(James has found a piece of fluff.)
    John has quickly hurried by.
(James was talking to a fly.)
John is there, and John has won!
    Look! I told you!
    Here's the sun!

No doubt someone will swing from the gibbets for this eventually but in the meantime fill yer boots.

Have a lovely time! Wish I was going back!!!

    Morning elite peeps! :)

    Ah
Anyone know roughly how much a pair of suspension springs and fitting will set me back? Never ever had to take a car to a garage for something other than a service but yesterday :( so my tattoo money is now being spent rather more wisely on fixing my car :(

No tescos for me til another day :( and a walk in the rain to my daughters swimming lesson. 6 mile round trip. Damn it

Hope everyone has a better day than me!

How on Gods earth did you break a set of springs
    :(

    Hi all,

Not posted much lately as Real Life (the "W" word) severely in the way, and won't be posting much this week either. I've only been skimming the thread the last week.

I've still managed my 5 minutes to play the quiz each day (hi Caz :hello:).

This one did catch my eye, though.

Good for you! Lots of support on here to help when things get tough, and I'm sure it won't be long before Nikkilala will be on your case.

Remember, the chemicals that MADE you smoke are gone in 3 days. After that, you are only fighting the habit, and the idea that you need a fag (you don't! :p). See my sig for more details.

I believe you will win. :D

Hi to all who have recently beaten the nasty ciggies. :T

Hi also to all who are not feeling well, or have loved ones who are poorly.

Respect as always to 3Dogs and Mr 3Dogs.

    Love you all.

    OB

Edit: A quick skim up to date tells me Nikki is indeed on your case. Don't worry, that's a good thing. :)

Edit2: where's MMW? Not seeing any posts by her as I skim along.

    Morning All.

Have been dipping in and out - so quick message to say thinking of everyone and all their strifes etc. Bananababe - what great news.

Just been checking online for the prices of the wines which were on offer, but ending yesterday - mainly Jacobs Creek. The JCs had all been reduced from 7.79 to 5.79 until yesterday. This morning they are all reduced from 7.79 to 5.00  So, probably no DTD availability which is what I was looking for.(bit naughty as it suggests they were previously selling at full price when they had already been reduced in the Wine Festival). However, the Calvet Tourraine Sauvignon was reduced from 7.99 to 3.99 with a yellow label, but now looks like it has a white label saying 3.99 so it seems they need to get rid of this! I will pop into Ts this avo to check, but not that hopeful of any great prices. Could be worth a look though.

:oDoes any of this make sense??!!

Edit - have only checked these prices on Ts online - have not been into any stores!
  • While I think of this.....

Everyone in the London area should remember to re-tune their TV's today as Digital Switchover is happening.

You just have to retune the Digital signal and there are plenty of online resources available if you get stuck.

    Good luck y'all.
