Afternoon all
I only joined up after seeing the OP the other day (was it Locarr's?) I filled in as many of the relevant surveys as I could, linked it to my facebook and Twitter....(even though I only ever joined Twitter to read about the Superinjunctions fiasco last year....and haven't looked at it since!)
My score is 5.6.
I'm getting the cleaning stuff...('cos I REALLY need more of that don't I) wish it was the baking one
I'm not really sure what I'm supposed to do though....how do you blog????:rotfl::rotfl:

Afternoon all!
Firstly I must say sorry to anyone who may feel I've been ignoring posts, I have only read a few pages here and there and am still catching up from days ago, so I will reply albeit belatedly xxx
Secondly, blood tests are in! This will mean nothing to those who aren't diabetic and aren't watching cholesterol but my Hba1c has come down from 8.5% to 7.3% (7-7.5% is normal) and my cholesterol has gone down from 6.3mmol to 4.24mmol - yipppeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!
As I lose weight I can expect the numbers to keep decreasing, though both are due to medication increases, hopefully I will be able to decrease my meds as I lose weight and maybe come off them altogether!
See you all later, off to my counselling session now, LOTS to get off my chest this week!
Great news Kadison, so pleased for you :j:j My cholesterol is normal but I have to be careful as there is a family history of raised cholesterol and premature coronary artery disease on my Dad's side.
Well done on your weight loss, you seem to have the will power and determination to reach your target weight...:):):)Born to glitch0 -
Not very experienced with JTD, do you mean they are appearing that much more expensive than an asda?!
No, they are showing as WAY cheaper than ASDA....A's prices are showing as £4 something, but T's prices are showing 56p/69p
Weirdly, both prices add up to what I actually paid for them, so the glitch is showing up on the price check by the looks of it
1 x TESCO CHICKEN TIKKA MASALA 600G £ 0.56 * £ 4.25
1 x TESCO BEEF CHILLI 600G £ 0.69 * N/A
Only the masala was compared but even still....I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. OT I know - but I'm calling on elite+ wisdom please.
I have a meat and tattie pie in the freezer that I made a couple of days agos. I was just wondering what temp to cook it at as I've never frozen one before. Thinking 180 for 40mins?0 -

i would cook it on the equivalent of Gas 7...i cook everything on Gas 7, on the middle shelf
If you can smell burning, then you've cooked it for too long

HTH
Quick google of temp conversions.
Thanks, I'll go for what I thought then, as mines a fan and I always drop the temp a bit and stick some foil on the pastry when it's cooked. I'm still getting used to the new oven after moving.
Me, I never burn anything!!!0
