I bought some Finest poultry gravy from Mr T last Saturday (7th). The first one I picked off the shelf said use by 4th April. I hesitated for a moment and wondered if I should buy it and then complain that it ruined my turkey dinner as the gravy had gone off. I ended up returning it to the shelf and getting one from the back that was in date. I'm regretting that decision now as I'm sure I'd have received a gift card for at least £20 for a ruined Easter dinner and would have happily used my bisto for that price. I'm now on the lookout for out of date food, although they always seem keen in my store checking the dates but obviously they must miss things.

    Hi Danielle
    Which T's are you trying?
If I wanted to do a grocery order my shopping comes from L££ Mill. I checked today to see what, if any they had in stock and it was just the tandoori chicken that came up

Will only be the one in town. I sold the car so can't get to any others without taking the bus.

I checked online (the one that delivers to my new house is Rob*rough) and thats the only one they had aswell. Just hoping they have some in town :D

Yes, definitely and they may send you a gift card as an apology if you're lucky. Alternatively, they may just ask you to return it to store next time and they'll refund you or offer a replacement.

Ok thanks. Will phone them tomorrow morning and see what they say. Can take it back after work if thats what they want. :)

Is it just the normal grocery number i phone?

:jall caught up and now ready for bed.

Just done quiz for today and am quite near the bottom, only 4/10 today.

Had a lovely SA in T's today, chatting away to my children and telling me all about hers, didn't bat an eyelid at my coupons or luncheon vouchers (i normally get comments on LV's saying not sure what to do with these or not sure if we take them) and then when she scanned my coupon for 1/3 off 1kg bag of mccain home chips obviously came up on till to manually enter amount she asked me how much were the chips, told her the correct price of £1.65, realised afterwards looking through receipt she had entered the coupon for the whole amount so free chips.
She was lovely to the children, i like the SA's that smile and answer the childrens questions
