I'm in the middle of making the mushy pea curry, thanks to the OP. Shame that no one else in the house likes peas :D

I shall appease them by adding potatoes, for some reason they all like them in a curry.

I love the mushy pea curry but make sure to use stock as its seriously thick even with passata added ! We add all spices to ours to make it really hot ! Hope you enjoy with all your mushy peas it'd be a good recipe to use for a while lol:rotfl:

:rotfl: I love potatoes in curry.. my fave being aloo gobi (potatoes and cauliflower curry, normally a side dish). I'm having thai fishcakes for dinner.. not sure what else to do with them .... can't really have mash as there is already potato in the fishcakes.

I just rang Yodel and they said that my goodie bag should have been delivered today but they are having a problem at my local depot and there is a backlog. I know this is true because my daughter's buggy for the new baby was due yesterday from Kiddicare but it didn't arrive until today.

Thanks for all yesterdays well-wishes for my DD's tooth extraction at hospital. She text me just after midday to say she was back on the ward and would be getting home around 4.30pm, all going well.
I went up at visiting time and couldn't believe how good she looked. She was getting hungry so I asked the nurse what she was allowed, the nurse said she would get her something (I thought maybe a yoghurt) and came back with a ham sandwich
Surprisingly DD managed to eat it though. She was discharged at 5pm with various painkillers but has been doing fine with just paracetemol :) She had some cheesy pasta for dinner followed by a trip to McD's for an ice cream :)

motherbear- I hope everything went well with your DD. I had 4 wisdom teeth out when I was 20 and I survived for a few days on soup, readybrek, porridge, yoghurts and sucking chocolate :D The only thing you might need to watch is temperatures, nothing too hot as it could induce bleeding in the early stages of healing where blood clots form to seal the hole. Also just to say, if you ever want to stay with DD, you just have to make it clear that you're not leaving. I'm 24 and my Mum never leaves me or follows visiting hours when I'm in hospital :o

Thankyou Fudge_cake, I think DD was actually glad that I didn't stay - I'm a nervous wreck at anything to do with teeth :o whereas DD was as cool as a cucumber and was actually quite excited to have the teeth out (she's been waiting for this appointment for 3 years ) and can't wait to get her brace.

No goodie bag yet but everything seems to take a few days extra to get up here :(

Haven't been to T's since Sunday - seem to have lost my T's mojo. Have got a couple of £5 off £40 spends to use but waiting for my JTD from Saturday to come through.......won't hold my breath though :rotfl:
