Just had a closer look at the 1 meter long receipt , all thats on it is food stuffs with the exception of 2 x Airwick Candels and bin bags... before multibuys it came to £224, that would keep me going for about 4-5 months....:rotfl:

Its defo not a MSE'ers receipt, there's no chocolate on it...:D

Hurry up price check emails!!! Feels like it's been forever :(

Quick update from my message to Tesco. They have apparently re-entered my receipt details now and I should expect an email within 36 hrs! On the plus side, they have now informed the 'Price Check Team' (!) of the problems that people are having, and they hope to resolve them shortly.

I pointed out that this has happened twice in as many weeks now, hopefully they'll get their act together!

  • Bored, bored, bored. Let's see if I can find a glitch on the Boots site.

Aha, is it possible I have found one? Or are the two offer running side by side quite happily?

Free gift when spending £10+ on Soap and Glory.

Just cried my eyes out reading the posts about how certain things remind people of loved ones who have died.
My dad died when I was quite young and the decision was made that I wouldn't go to the funeral. For years afterwards I would see men in crowds and think it was my dad - only to experience the crushing realisation that it wasn't. :(
I know that lots of people think it's important that children go to funerals, but I still think that it wouldn't have been the right thing for me, and that attending the funeral would have been more traumatic for me than the pangs I would feel when I would think I'd seen my dad.
Now I can't stop worrying that I'm going to lose my mum, as well as dealing with all the other awful things that are going on in my life right now. :(
Thank you so much to everyone who took the time to offer me words of comfort, and to those who 'thanked' my post yesterday. I know that not everyone knows the 'right' things to say in a situation like mine, but at least I could feel your support and that you were thinking of me, and for that I am grateful xx
