I think part of the problem is the meal deal combinations because not only have you got the 3 items for £3, but the cheese layered salad had "2 for £3.50" stickers on and the powerade looks like it may be on "buy one get one free" although there was no sign on the shelf but receipt shows a link save. Can the tills accurately get the best deal for the customer when there are at least 3 promotions going at the same time?

If it was Mr T or B00ts then you probably would have been paid to take it all away!:T

Note to self - do not shop in the Co-Op, I don't anyway it's far too pricey!:D

Morning all from a very wet N.Ireland, just catching up quickly as I have a funeral shortly. May get a trip to Ts later to see if there are any decent whoopsies on meat as freezer is looking empty with DS being home. Whoopsied leg of lamb in the oven for later tonight.
Hugs to those with family problems at the minute and everyone else who wants/needs one. Have a great day whatever you do. Catch up with you all later xx

Good morning - it is dull but dry here slight breeze we only need milk so will have to pop to shop sometime today might see how fast it goes down and wait till whoopsie time

Thank you celebrate and karlie88 for the info on stamp deals at Ocado but alas they don't deliver to my area

I do this as if they stay curled up especially where the numbers are they can become illegible when you open them out

    Have a great day all

Sorry to go back (briefly) on the subject of annoying bad grammar, I remember being in a training course for my job where the trainer constantly pronounced the word "illegible" as "eligible"... I got so annoyed I corrected him in front of the class and he wouldn't say it anymore, you could see he thought about it before he spoke!I know maybe I shouldn't have but he was a bit odd and nobody liked him anyway, bit of a creepy pervy type.:D

Don't get me wrong I am SO not perfect but I think if you are teaching others then it's your responsibility to teach them correctly!

Sorry FK for being a pedant! And not that it matters anyway but Dreamerbea you used it correctly I wasn't correcting you it just reminded me of "Kevin the tragic trainer" lol!

I'm on my phone so not able to get quote to work properly.

Re the Co-op offers, it looks to me like both the crisps and the crunchie were in the meal deal but only the cheaper one applied. Many stores do this. I'm not saying its fair, especially as the crunchie wasn't labelled as such, but I can't see them overhaulling their till system when all their other 3 for2 etc deals have the cheapest free. Even Tesco does this. Last summer with their back to school 342, I bought 3 things at £5 and 3 at £1. Total, you'd think was £12 with 1 @ 5 and 1 @ £1 free, but total was £16, as 2 of the cheaper £1 items were free.
Needless to say I got the SA to put it through as 2 transactions.

    It's only a game

Tenth Anniversary Combo Breaker Xmas Saver!
Morning all from a dull but dry Belfast.

In a better mood this morning, cousins baby had a good night and his canula's still in place. He getting more bloods taken this morning to see how things are going and hopefully he'll be home tomorrow.
Poor wee thing hasn't a clue what's going on when he first wakes up but then sees his mum and is a lot happier. My aunt's got some really funny photos of him looking a mixture of confused and grumpy. Going up shortly for visiting time and staying until my other cousin gets up after lunch as she was working last night
