Hi, thanks for the welcomes.
Kadison, thanks for the invite to the list, at this stage of coming out of lurkdom can I just say I'm M 40ish North East Scotland.
HC - loving your Bears photo and many others I have seen.
No probs, you'll be added the next time I do the update xLong soak in the bath with a lush bath bomb ( do people actually buy these things I got this for my bday but it didn't do much!)
I buy them and use them for washing, as in washing me not my clothes, they last about 4 go's and I LOVE THEM! My fave is Cinders, it has popping candy type stuff in it and makes a wonderful noise as the little bits explode! No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries 2023

hi everyone, hope you all had a good day.
I also love the Twillight and Sophie Kinsella books, along with Jodi Picoult ones. Although I am one of those people that walk out of cinema after watching a film saying "well that was completely wrong" having read the book first. I really should stop reading the books before watching films as film is then ruined for me, most of the time they leave out what I feel are major parts of the story.
Those that have read Twillight, have you also read The short second life of Bree Tanner. Thought that was ok.
YesA few times
:o:o:o I think it's great
Have you read Midnight Sun? If it was finished I#m sure it would be my favourite of them all. Reading from Edward's point of view is amazing and insightful
With Twilight the only one I feel is a let down on the books is Twilight. I think the others are fantastic and I'd read the books several times before watching them, and awaiting them in much anticipation I hasten to add!But even so yes I am like you and immediately recognise the bits I appreciate most in the book of they are absent but I think everyone must do that and identify more with certain aspects than others. I don't fancy the job as director of something as revered as the Twilight Saga, you're bound to upset a few million people!

Oooh I'll give them a go, thank you :AxxMy daughter read the book before going to watch The Hunger games at the cinema and she said the film's very true to the book.
I've seen the film but not read the book and I enjoyed it very much.
Thanks Auntycaz I'm hopefully taking Mum to see it using Orange Wednesdays this weekWe saw the trailer when we went to Breaking Dawn and have been awaiting it ever since
I figured last week with it being the first weds the cinemas would be packed but didn't factor in Easter holidays!

I was disappointed with the twilight books and films I much preferred Lord of the Rings. I am really looking forward to the Hobbit coming out. I think Peter Jackson is a brilliant director0
