went to WHS yesterday, managed to get 4 x giftcards until I was trouted with my 5th saying we can't buy giftcards with giftcards... With 25% off cards as well, I managed to find a card that just cost 75p after discount, until my OH pushed the daily mail under my nose while paying for the card... if looks could kill!!!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

went to T's after, got loads of woopsied meat and flowers and fruit.. Went to buy a whole salmon which was 1/2 price, only to be charge £4.44 for it... So I went back to get another one which went through at the full £14... when I checked the label the poor fish bloke had put it through at half salmon instead of a whole salmon... so we got 2 whole salmon's for under £20!!!!!!!!!!! :T:T:T:T:T

thank to bensonsmum :A on the headup regarding the wine, but none in our store.

we bought 2 lots of 2 bottles of Grouse whisky which is £24 in T's and £14 in A's... so paid £48.. minus £5 coupon and £20jtd voucher.. we paid £24 for 2 bottles and should get a £20 jtd voucher.. Most 1ltr bottles of spirits are £14 in A's, so a good price and an excellent jtd voucher, ideal time to stock up. :T:T:T:T:T

Plus.... we got a Ipod docking station and speaker for £1... managers special...

Hope to get heads up regarding the H&M voucher, what actually do they sell???

Happy Easter Everybody!! I haven't managed to find time to get on here to post recently. I can't believe how blooming fast this thread moves! Have tried to read back over a few pages but I am going to have to give up!
We watched the first 2 Shrek films for the first time yesterday and I have got to admit that I haven't laughed so much in ages!! Am going to be watching part 3 later and I cant believe how much I am looking forward to it! Oh, my life is so rock-n-roll!!

It will be good to be back in the championship where at least the games are fair. We are not a dirty team ridiculous how many players we've had sent off in the past few weeks :mad: Stop trying to wind me up I have a BIG spoon to hit your saucepan with :rotfl:

Happy Easter everyone.

OH and the boys have gone swimming. We are not feeling particularly Easter-y here - it's funny with DD away. One of my step-sons had some over for a quick 18 hour visit which is nice!! I laid out all the eggs on our bed and let the boys choose. "There's a lot of eggs here" says DS aged 12. I say they are for him and siblings and their cousins. "What's the chance of them getting us any though" he comes back with. I admitted it was limited, and then added that I wondered what were the chances of me getting one from anyone in our house!!! He decided it was slim as last night when we went out for dinner my OH suddenly realised he hadn't even thought of buying any eggs etc. (Lucky I had it in hand!) So - they've just gone swimming, I've painted the dining room, and had a catch up on here, AND eaten 12 Jaffa Cakes! AArrgghh. Anyway, thought I'd pop down to see my sis and family (with eggs) in pub, before they eat, and realised we left the other car in town last night. Better go and get it!! wishing you all a good day, whatever your circumstances. Smiles and hugs!
