I've tried ...that...drink before. They serve it in nightclubs, labelled without the *, and it tastes like pineaple juice despite being an energy drink.

I even got DTD on it before, was a little embarrassing trying to explain what I'd bought at CS! And then the CS lady was embarrassed when asking the duty manager to go and check the SEL! hehe

Btw, was a complete accidental DTD, and was very pleased to get it for free, just wish I'd bought more

    G'day everyone.

**drags soap box out the cupboard**

I've had a couple of PM's recently about people shops and how god they were. Turns out first one was copying coupons and using multiples of the same coupon and the second person was reproducing JTD vouchers over and over again.

I know this thread is a brilliant support network to us all and we all appreciate the thread and also the plaudits when we have a great haul or shop, but please, please, please can we all bear in mind that we must stay the right side of the law with what we do. I don't want to end up baking a cake with a file in it! :)

Not having a go at anyone and I've no intention of naming anyone, just a gentle reminder.

**kicks soapbox back into the cupboard**

I use a fair few coupons, and often get treated like a criminal for trying to do so. So fully agree with the above, please keep it legit for everyone, or they'll get stopped.

Also 3Dogs here's some advice re: healthy eating for Alan.

Anti-oxidants have been proven to be of a real benefit in aiding the immune system. What you need are foods which are high in these. Tea, chocolate, garlic, red wine etc. have anti-oxidants in them...but not as much as people think.

If you want a superfood, then try something like sumac. It's a kind of spice used in middle-eastern food. It's not hot or spicy; in fact, it has a sour taste. But it contains A LOT of anti-oxidants. It's something like a teaspoon of sumac has 1000x number of anti-oxidants vs. a cup of tea. There is a theory that anti-oxidants help with fighting/preventing cancer. But scientifically, it hasn't been proven yet. Personally, I think it's only a matter of time 'til it is. There's a lot of research in this particular area.

Additionally, we have cells in our body called natural killer (NK) cells. These are thought to prevent us from getting cancer. Vitamin E has been proven to increase the number of NK cells in our body. Studies have shown that those with vitamin E deificient diets have a lower number of NK cells. So try foods rich in viatmin E like green veg, avacadoes, berries, olive oil etc.

I realise my advice isn't going to change Alan's outsome by much. But I hope it helps. I am a strong believer in anti-oxidants and their health benefits and scientifically, the evidence is slowly building up in its favour.

My thoughts are with you at this difficult time 3dogs. And for anyone else out there.

    Love and hugs,

    karlie88.
