Job Centre Website - broken

Options
At a time when millions are out of work and desperate to find jobs, you'd think the Job Centre Website coders may just pay attention when they 'update' their website so they don't break stuff.

I'm sure it works find in some browsers, but my trusty ole' Firefox 11 not only makes a mess of the newly positioned links at the top of the result, but also displays the location box on the right a single character wide.

It works fine in Opera, just wondering if it's broken for anyone else?

  • I used it on Google Chrome today and it seems really dodgy. I used to be able to sort them by date order so I didn't click on a job I'd already applied for but I don't seem to be able to do that anymore.

I noticed it was like this yesterday, all I did for now was click on the right where it says age and just search the last 2 days.
It's still a pain to use though.

Frankly, the UK Government (of any party), shouldn't be allowed near websites. They rarely work and cost vast amounts of our money.

The new gov.uk site that is currently in beta is actually really good, they have finally put some thought into it. I think its because it is a completely new team behind it rather than those that did the awful direct.gov.uk.
