:mad::mad:

Last weekend my daughter mis laid within the distance of 10 yards. Can someone help me with the following:

Is there anyway of finding out how we could trace it. my daughter stated it was turned off. It also had a security password on it. If somebody had picked it up ( so annoying ) could they get into it.

We have pulled the house literally upside down.

Thanks

    Yes, very easy to bypass the security on any Apple device....

    In this instance, holding the home button whilst inserting the USB cable whilst iTunes on will restore to factory settings, wiping or flashing the iPod with the latest iOS.

    Tracing an iPod? As far as I'm aware, they're not equipped with GPS-enabled tracking devices that "phone home" when your kid dumps it in the bin and tells you she has lost it so that you buy her a brand new, newer model version like all her friends have.

    I think it is in our house;. When this incident happened we had the electrician here with some of the upstairs floor boards pulled up. He is back again this weekend so gonna have a butchers.

    Oh and my daughter isn,t like that.;) I can honestly say she is generally gutted and still worried where it is.

    If you put a passcode lock on the iPod, it can be broken into within seconds, i.e. it is useless.
