    Hmm well..

    I'd that were in place when I took out my loans I'd have definitely not taken PPI, because it wouldn't been offered and it wouldn't have occurred to me.

    some things in that article are old news. single premium ppi was gone in 2009 not 6 April this year.

    Are banks banned from selling PPI at the point of selling credit or are they just not allowed to bring it up?

    If you take out a loan and ask for PPI will the bank say 'sorry we can't give you that right now?'
