Santander/CPP Mobile phone insurance

Hi everyone,
With my Santander student account i get free mobile phone insurance through CPP. I have used this once before and it was great, no problems at all.
I unfortunately dropped my phone again at the start of February so went through the same process of claiming. This time things didn't go as well. This time it took a full month before I got my phone repaired and when I did get it back they replaced the PCB (printed circuit board) even though it was the exact same problem as the first time, when they just replaced the broken screen. The screen was fixed but after a few days the phone flash started randomly going off and wouldn't work when camera or torch was selected and the screen was loose. After sending it to them a 2nd time and receiving it back it has started doing the same thing all over again.
I know its free insurance and i might be being a little picky but every time i send it i am without a phone and they still took the £35 excess of me to get it repaired. Also, because this is my second claim within the year i cannot claim again. What i would like to know is, is there any point me complaining to santander/CPP and if i did is there any chance of me getting my £35 excess back or even getting this claim "ignored" and allowing me to claim again if anything did happen the phone again. Handset is HTC Desire
Thanks for any help in advance,
Ryan

You wont explicitly get the excess back however you may get a guesture of goodwill equiv to your excess given they have failed to repair it correctly twice.
Would suggest if you do get a goodwill that you invest in a case for it. Whilst insurance is good to resolve problems it is infinitely preferable for the problem not to occur in the first place.0 -
you have no chance of getting the claim wiped off. 2 claims in a year max is pretty reasonable to be fair0
