Trouble with Faster Payments from Santander to LTSB

I have a new preferred current account with Santander.
This morning I tried to transfer £1000 from it to my Lloyds TSB Vantage account to fulfill the funding obligations, with the intention of then sending it on to my Halifax Reward then back to my Santander account.
I tried twice to send the £1000. Both times it said it had gone but didn't show up in the Vantage account. I checked the transactions list and it said 'Rejected' but not why.
I guessed it might be over the FP limit so I tried again with a £500 payment which again, said it was successful but didn't go through.
I have sufficient funds in the account so I can't see any obvious reason why it hasn't gone. Can anyone explain?
Surely the FP limit isn't less than £500?
Thanks!

They might have a block on your account, they did that with me the first time I tried to transfer £1000 out to my Halifax account, you'll have to ring them.Debt free and staying that way! :beer:0

I just rang them and apparently it's been caught in some security software designed to stop suspicious transactions.
Despite the fact that it said the payments had been rejected, they are going through but were being processed. The customer services chap is going to stop all but one so I don't end up paying out too much!0
