Help with Overdraft

Hello,
I'm new on this forum but have been receiving the MSE emails for some time and I wondered if anyone may be able to help me. I have a problem with my overdraft in my LTSB account, a couple of years back I was made redundant twice in succession and due to a period of self employment in the previous tax year I had only paid class 2 NI contributions, which in turn meant that during my time without work I could not claim any sort of benefit/JSA etc. I then had to go into my overdraft to make ends meet. I found a job but unfortunately ever since then I have not been able to earn enough to get myself out of the overdraft, any little extra I do manage to earn gets swallowed by charges/interest. I can't work any more hours than I do already as I unfortunately suffer from a disability which prevents this. I'm now at the point where due to the charges being more than I can earn I'm regularly going into unauthorised overdrafts which is costing me even more and it is snowballing. Can anybody give me some advice on things I could try to sort this out please?
Thanks
